King Naratheinga Uzana

Ruling Years : A.D (1231 - 1235)

King Naratheinga Uzana was the son of King Nadaung Myar and Queen Eindaw The. He was born in the year of 1195. He had a younger brother called Kya Swa who then became the King of Bagan after him. He had two queens, Ami Phayar Saw and Thakhin Saw. Queen Ami Phayar Saw had three children, Theinga Pati, Thara Phyar and Asaw Latt. Queen Thakhin Saw was well known in Myanmar history.

She was popularly known as Queen Phwar Saw. She was granted with land and jewelry. She was a devotee to Buddhism and she made many donations. She had two children, Uzana and Ayee Saw. King Naratheinga Uzana crowned his younger brother to the throne of Bagan. But that led to the chaos to the internal community of the Bagan dynasty.
