King Sokkate

Ruling Years : A.D (992 - 1017)

King Sokkate was the son of King Sawrahan and Queen Alae Pyin. He was born on the 18 April 991. Kyiso, Sokkateand Anawrahta's queen mothers were known to be sisters.

Like his brother King Kyiso, King Sokkate was spared when he was a young boy. He ascended the throne of Bagan after his elder brother King Kyiso.
