Shwezigon Pagoda Festival

Shwezigone pagoda festival is held in Tazaungmone, the eighth month in Myanmar calendar, which falls in October/November of each year. Shwezigon is one of the most attractive destination in Bagan.

Like other pagoda festivals in Bagan and all around Myanmar, there are food stalls, shops selling local products, magic shows, puppet shows, theatrical shows, Zat pwe and Anyeints.

The locals as well as the foreign visitors enjoy walking round the food stalls and other shops, buying souvenirs and studying the environment.
